Per request, sweet tater soup

Post by clovishound » Wed Nov 16, 2016 12:08 am

Posted recipe in sub folder.

If you want a detailed recipe with exact measurements do an internet search for sweet potato soup. I do mine seat of the pants. I like the taste of a mildish curry powder and cilantro. It only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to make if you zap the sweet potatoes in the microwave. One reason for inexact measurements, is that I use one very large tater, or a couple smaller ones. I don't measure out the potato, so I tailor the recipe to fit the amount of potato I have. The thickness sometimes varies, you can add broth or potato if needed. It will thin when you add the milk.

Hope you like it.

I like sweet potatoes too.

I never made soup out of them but it sounds like something that I should try.
