Bit Of A Twist

Post by JEBar » Sat May 30, 2020 4:39 pm

while researching pellet smokers and recipes (I honestly don't remember where), I ran across a bit of a twist on grilling a classic cheeseburger .... the process requires cutting a sandwich slice of cheese into quarters .... stack them up .... pat out a thing hamburger patty and place the stack in the center .... cover with another thin hamburger and seal the edges .... I also seasoned the the burger prior to sealing the two patties together .... worked slick and didn't have melted cheese dropping onto or below the cooking grate

I like the technique, but I prefer American Cheese over the processed "cheese" that it appears you used in your photos.
