Been working on simplifying my shooting bag stuff....I have a very nice, large buffalo bag that hold lots of stuff but it's big to pack around. I have this smaller simple elk bag from October Country that I have been using lately. Now the lead balls are just loose in the bag, my lubed patches are in a little snuff can, the ball starter I made myself, and the little deerskin pouch I put together to protect a small can of extra caps. The caps I use go in the "capper" I punched out and attached to my horn strap (an old saddle latigo) along with the powder measure I made. Very compact kit and easy to carry around in the field. I put the antler on the bag flap to help keep it down on windy days.
