Goex - back from the dead???

Post by wolfman » Mon Jan 31, 2022 9:20 pm

Good news for black powder shooters:

Suppose Estes knows something about propellants... step daughter & I have successfully launched several of their model rockets. They did not, in fact, go bang... which in the case of model rockets, is a good thing :)

I don't use BP, but, for those that do, this seems like some pretty good news. Thanks.

Haven't used any of it, nor it's substitutes, in quite a few years. Still get the itch now & again & it'll get the best of me eventually.

The European black powders are good stuff & a good number of folks more experienced than I prefer it to Goex. But supply competition is always a good thing for the consumer, & I hated that it was one more item that Americans would have to rely completely on other countries to supply.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

This is indeed news of importance. When I get low on Dupont and Meteor black powder I will be able to get some Goex for my BPCR.
