I'm not currently in the black power folks crowd, but I am drooling. :)

I used to shoot BP, though, and have been thinking of getting back into it, but talk about tough finding powder or even percussion caps. Ouch! Round balls and conicals, though, I can find.

I am drooling, I shot a flintlock once, singed my hair a little so my Hawken is a cap and ball. It is really fun to shoot.

You just can't go wrong with a good flintlock. Started shooting flints in 1977 and never looked back. The only key is it has to be a good one setup right. Almost as fast as a percussion. That is a great looking flintlock there.

Powder and caps are out there NCG. You might need to look a few places but its doable. I would think the tough find for yourself might be the actual gun. This gun here is a kit put together by a guy who has been building these kit. Jim Kibler is making the kits and turning out a really good product.

That's the colonial model and it's time period is 1760 to 1770. Great stick design.

Flintlocks are nice. I have managed to get some and now have a problem getting powder of course, oh well maybe I will shoot mine soon.

Beauty Al, no flintlocks, what kind of furniture on that one?
Me, all I have are percussions here, 3 rifles and 4 revolvers.
