Arrived this evening from Dixie gun works. Must say I'm impressed with fit & finish. Lock work is excellent lock up is tight. Range report after recovery from carpel tunnel

Nice!! What size caps will you use? I also noticed the lock up on my 1858 Remington was like a vice no movement at all with cylinder.

I have #10 remington caps. I may call on ranch roped as I've heard these shoot a bit high

Very nice! Mine is same but cartridge conversion. You will love it. This was 15 yds....basically 6 o'clock hold.

Channel your Wild Bill and shoot! After awhile your jaw will hurt from smiling...seriously fun guns to shoot. Might shoot a little high but you will figure it out. Let us know how you like the rear sight...

I like your 1860, that's a fine looking piece. I don't think Uberti makes any bad guns. I have two and they are both fine shooters.
My 1858 is the only revolver I have that actually shoots to point of aim. Aim at 6:00 the POI is just a hair above the top of the front sight. It hits shotgun shells at 20 yards without much effort. It got a .45LC conversion cylinder and with cowboy loads, still puts them right in there.
