Now with a black powder load you might get a shot off and then have a chance to go for cover or change position with all the smoke.
I know that the Black MZ powder gives off a nice cloud and is easy to clean up.

Nah, they don't allow BP in there at all. That's one of the nice things about the conversion cylinders. You can shoot them inside.

Howard what did you do to the 1858 as far as tuning it for function. Did you change out the nipples at all to prevent the so called cap sucking and cylinder lock up from caps binding it.

It's just the way it was when I took it out of the box. I haven't done a thing to it. This one had been pretty much trouble free.
