DuPont Non-Stick Dry-Film

Anyone use this product for lube on a firearm? I figure since it is a dry lube it wouldn't attract as much dust, etc.

No graphite that I can tell form the label. It reads "Non-Stick Dry-Film Lubricant with Teflon" Reduces Friction,Repels grit.

A couple years back I tested it on revolvers and auto pistols hoping to find a lube that wouldn't attract grit. When first applied it appeared to lube okay, but it rubbed off the metal-to-metal contact areas after a dozen rounds. Its lack of film strength gave it a fail for my applications. You could probably attain the same amount of lubrication, but get added weather protection, by waxing the gun with Renaissance wax.

I'm a big fan of Renaissance wax, too. Welcome to the forum.

I bought the wax and the cleaner about 2 years ago! Love it, a bit pricey for a,small amount, but works great, a little goes a long way
