Trying a Winchester sight combo on my Henry BB and just want to let everyone know the front sight comes out from Left to Right - and back in from Right to Left - If you ever find yourself removing yours.

And this is referenced as looking down the barrel from the butt as in normal shooting..............

This is correct.................

This is good to know and not something I've found elsewhere. In fact, a couple of youtube videos that show guys working on non-Henry lever guns show the exact opposite, where they tap out a sight from a dovetail moving from right to left (I think it was a Marlin and maybe a Winchester they were working on).

This is true of the rear buckhorn sight, too, correct?
