I have owned and used the clear plastic one for years. It works well! I do have a battery operated flexible one as well that I picked up at Wally World. I think it was about $10.00. I have found that I like the clear plastic cheapo better though. The battery operated is really too bright.BrokenolMarine wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 6:36 pmI have been using the same bent piece of clear plastic, no batteries to fail, nor bulbs to burn out. Stick one end in the chamber, cylinder, etc...
Then turn / point the other at any light source...
Bright light where you need it.
It was about $1.50 at a gun show. Still works after all these years.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Re: Bore light ???
I picked up several battery ones over the years, came in the swag bags at instructor classes or giveaways at firearms manufacturer's seminars. I'd end up giving them to students or fellow competitors at a match. That bent tube still does the job.markiver54 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 16, 2021 11:41 pmI have owned and used the clear plastic one for years. It works well! Re: Bore light ???
I have several bore lights and keep them in all our vehicles. I stop by pawn shops often, to see what they have that's just dropped off pawn. With my adjustable bore light, I can see th critical parts of the gun including the bore and action.
