A few more nights sleepless in the Blue Ridge.
Know the feeling except for me was in the TV.
I'm just guessing it's 5 business day turnaround.

It was not pleasant. But, weather, what can you do? We are high and dry. Reaching out to see who needs help now.

Re: Sight adjustment
When my warranty work is complete, does anyone know if they will send me a return tracking #? I sure don't want my rifle sitting on my porch if I'm not home when it arrives! Typically, not a concern, but, this is a firearm.

Re: Sight adjustment
I've had two rifles returned since 2014; I wasn't given notification for either of them. Fortunately, my wife was home to receive them -- they required a signature. The process may have changed since then.. I think others here have called CS daily to get an update.

Hmm, thanks for the response Stan. Guess I'll know soon enough, maybe there are some others out there with more recent experience.

Re: Sight adjustment
I sent a rifle back a couple months ago. I got tracking numbers both ways. Henry will give you a warranty number and a login number to check progress on their website. That is where the tracking numbers can be found. No one was home the first time UPS tried to deliver. Their note said they would make two more attempts, then it was return to sender because of “adult signature required.” The note also said you could contact them and have it held at a local service center and pick up at your convenience. That’s what I did, and picked it up the next day.

Re: Sight adjustment
Did they issue a Warranty Tracking Number (or whatever they call it) when they received it and put it in their system? And/or do you know from your UPS outbound shipment's tracking number when it arrived?

Re: Sight adjustment
Thanks Evan. Yes, I've been checking every day on the tracking link. There is a spot there for return tracking, but nothing yet. They did acknowledge receiving it on the 13th. Have the HWS # and access code. Figure I'll give them till Monday before I call to check status. Always hesitant to be a PIA. Do wish I would have heard something regarding progress or shipment by now though!

Re: Sight adjustment
Emailed Henry today, was told my rifle was in repair and should be sent back sometime this week. Fingers crossed that it is this week and HOPE! It is truly fixed. No reason to doubt that really, just that besides the frozen dove tail, it was also a little cocked over and out of level...guess I'll know soon.

Could happen tomorrow. Put my .070 peep on mine today and double checked the front sight just because. Supposed to rain Saturday, have to see how Sunday pans out.
