I've a 1982 Glenfield 60. Birch wood stock.
There is a crack started in the wrist, starting at the bottom of the trigger group.
Here is a picture of the sock after the first sanding.
Looks like years of hand grime is all thats left to clean up.
The crack starts at the safty curve on the bottom of the stock.
Think I can counter sink a steel screw there to repair the crack.
I want to use an Ebonizing type stain. Silky Dark Black.
