Welcome to the Forum from the Show-Me-State.
Many interesting mods have been done to the Henry ML. Always interesting to see how Folk think of the box with this gun. Will also be interesting to read any Range Reports you might post about shooting those cool rifles....uh, revolvers, uh, derringers...whatever it ends up to be! ;)

Well I’ve been shooting my peg leg for about 6 weeks now and I’m very pleased. Using a cheek weld along with a Skinner barrel mount peep for a rear sight it shoots on par with my Ruger MKI heavy tapered 6 7/8” barrel target model pistol. The Skinner sight is nice but I have a Marbles Bullseye sight on order that will give about another 1 1/4” to my sight radius. I’m thinking of adding a military style groove to the forearm to make using a push pull hold more natural. I only wish the naysayers could be having as much fun with a gun like this as I am. The barrel on my peg leg is 9 7/8” long but I think I see a 6” gun in the future. I’m also tossing around the idea of a brass tube sight project to tryout on one.

You might be on to something that fits a "Steampunk" persona...

Wow! the new Marbles Bullseye rear sight is awesome. Amazing how the outer and inner diameters work together. This sight is way faster and more accurate than the OEM or Skinner barrel mount aperture.

latest Peg Leg comes to light.
OAL - 15 7/8”.
Barrel Length - 7 3/8”.
Capacity - 5 + 1

I cut the barrel off at the point where the step down occurs. The smaller diameter had to be recut along with the fore end moved back. Added a long version of the Marbles Bullseye rear sight. I won’t get a chance to shoot it till this Tuesday. I can still get a back of my thumb cheek weld with it. LOL
