Had to break out some of my stash I have been saving back toward getting my wife a CZ Grand Finale this summer. A friend stopped by and had two new Leupolds NIB for $300 each. Hard to pass on them now they are no longer made. I still prefer the style of the older Leupolds over the Freedom scopes. I like the Freedom series and they are very clear and work great. Just like the old style a little more. One may go on my Grand Finale and one in the safe for right now.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Nice score! I agree with you on the new freedom series, to my eyes they simply don't look as good, even though they probably see just as well .

Nice! Will go nice with that GF. I like the older Leupold's also. Being a minor optics snob[me!], what is the partially hidden scope there? And the binocs? Thanks bandit. Your wife will have one very accurate set-up.

sounds like a really good buy .... there's no doubt, they should serve you well .... I've never used a Leupold but have several friends who won't use any other brand .... looking forward to seeing how my mount them and your subsequent reports
