Most ridiculous thing I've ever seen!
So the better half came across something in my opinion is so silly and ridiculous that a supreme manly man, (who's secretly insecure) came up with this! If I'm wrong correct me as I'm still new to this.

Hang the word 'thermal' on it, make it glow red and display some numerical info when looking through it, price it astronomically and some newbee, wannabee (etc) will buy it because, 'Its the perfect hunting platform' (sorry - I am sick of the word 'platform')
Reality being what it is it may NOT be legal in all states for hunting as it has an electrically enhanced image.

You're so right. Soon to be introduced -- companion ammunition featuring a heat seeking, GPS guided, armor piercing bullet for the very largest and stealthiest big game. Only available for the iPAD. It's all about the sport.Dahliathemeh wrote:If I'm wrong correct me...

By the time the 'super scope' has finished its calculations, the hog that you wanted for dinner will be long gone.

Re: Most ridiculous thing I've ever seen!
Oh, I'm sure there's someone out there that would buy that setup. After all, now and then, I run across someone on a forum that thinks anyone who shoots lever guns and revolvers are ridiculous. Each to their own, I guess.
Re: Most ridiculous thing I've ever seen!
It does not seem like it is designed for the averaged hunt.
Actions speak louder than words (Matthew 7:16-20).
Re: Most ridiculous thing I've ever seen!
I initially thought the video was satire
Seems like something more appropriate for hunting sci-fi critters, gremlins, graboids, zombies and other monsters.
Maybe it has a ghost buster option?

Re: Most ridiculous thing I've ever seen!
I would want one, just as a conversation piece and a really good laugh
Think of the fun entertainment we could have with our guests while we do a re-enactment of that demo in the video!

Re: Most ridiculous thing I've ever seen!
Actually, it would have great entertainment potential. I would love to take it to the range, mounted on a 10/22, and try to keep a straight face as I show my friends the great new scope I found.
