Hello. Thinking about a red dot for my H006M

I have been thinking about putting a red dot on my H006m. I don't like the bigger ones and was thinking about getting a vortex Venom or the vipper. I know there are used on pistols but was thinking about my rifle. I know if it don't work good on the rifle I can use it on my pistol. I would like to know what other people think of doing that before I do it. I just can't see that great with iron sights. I have tried skinner and could not hit anything with them.

I’m a fan of the Mueller Quick Shot Red Dots. I have 3 of them. Reliable and will hold zero. Built for 12 gauge turkey shooting.

This might be one you dont like but I have a sig romeo and I like it better than a reflex on a rifle. I have one on a Henry Single shot 357. I like it

a red dot is a good option for mounting on a 357 .... I like your idea of mounting a smaller one .... looking forward to following your progress

This is the one I was looking at.www.amazon.com/Vortex-Optics-Venom-Red- ... d+dots&qid. The reason I was looking at it is if I don't like in on my rifle and can get a plate and put in on my Glock 19 or I can put in on my Glock and if I don't like it I can put it on the rifle. I do have a old red dot of my son's and have put it on my rifle but it don't fit in my carrying to good. I am not sure if I can get it to zero in or not and have to let the weather get better to find out.

I was reading the reviews on that and a lot of people was talking about the glass falling out or to loose . is there a way to take the red dot off of the base so it could be mounted to a plate to go on my Glock?

Not that I can see without some serious surgery. I have one in my hand right now and there is a screw that holds the red dot itself in place on the mount but it looks like the elevation screw goes down through the bottom of the mount itself.

I have put a ton of rounds through all three of them and have not had any failures at all.

tcpip95. The reports was from Amazon and a lot was getting open boxes and stuff like that if one would go to the dealer and get one it should be better. I must say it look great and I like the price. I send them a email to find out if there is a plat that would let me put in on my Glock too.

After a lot of looking and every thing I went out and got me a Vortex Venom so now. I just have to mount it and when it gets nice out I will try it out. Hope it work good because at that price I can't just let it lay around and not use it.
