Rings height for 30mm scope 3 - 9 X 40 Henry single shot

Please recommend what height of rings be good as need to pull back the hammer too..thanks

May be hard to say - and it’s probably not a whole lot of help - but this photo is medium rings and a 1” scope. Clearance between the hammer, power ring and focus ring is really close. I actually had to move it a bit the first time I took it to the range the range because the hammer was contacting the power ring causing light primer strikes. Once adjusted no more light primer strikes. Not sure how high rings for 30mm scopes set a scope off a rifle - i’ve never mounted a 30mm scope. You may start with medium and if they are too low take them back to the store and see if they will take an exchange.

Again - probably not much help.

Usually Igo to the Warne web site. They have drop down menus to determine the correct rings
