hunting comfort zone

in my mind our Henry 44 and 45-70 are effectively 100 yard rifles .... in the hands of some shooters they can most certainly perform well at much longer distances .... while I'd be willing to take a shot at a target at longer distances but at this point would not be comfortable doing so at a game animal ... at what ranges do you feel comfortable hunting with your larger caliber Henry rifle(s)

I have a .357 Big Boy and take it out deer hunting. I shoot very well at 50 yards, and would be quite comfortable reaching out between 50-75 yards. I've shot it at 100 yards quite a bit, but the 75-100 yard distance needs "to be studied" more....to shoot well at that distance, I could stand more range time to improve accuracy.

But the challenge is the fun of it. And the recent post of the new "Long Ranger" Henry in the 3 hunting calibers sure helps to reach out further yet!! That rifle would be fun to try.
