I’ve used a Romeo red dot by Sig. 2 moa dot. Very practical
For the expected range. These red dots are really a great option. Good luck with your search.

I took two deer this year with my .357 Single Shot topped with a red dot(Nikon Spur). I was everything I wanted, two 25-30 yard shots and meat for the freezer.
