In the instruction sheet it says rimfire scopes are set for 60 and centerfire set for 150. So is the scope considered rim or center?

the only related info I can find on their website only helps to confuse the issue .. :? .. that being : "VX-Freedom Series is Suited for muzzleloaders, rimfire, and centerfire guns" ... :?:

I tried to make a visual check but I am limited at home. I will take them to the range next time where I can check from very close out to 200 yards.

looking forward to hearing what you find .... I have no plans to purchase another scope anytime soon but with Nikon gone Leupold would be a brand I'd strongly consider

I bought two Nikons just a few weeks ago. Selection was low but I was able to get what I wanted. Both mine were made in the Philippines.

A quick call to Leupold with your scope model and serial number should tell you for sure which one it’s set for.

ShakeyJake recommended Natchez Shooting Supplies awhile back, and I got a 1-4x20 Nikon from them for half price. They still seem to have a lot of stock on Nikon. It’s the one I put on QR rings on my Marlin 336. I found parallax on Nikon’s website easily in the “tech specs” section, and happily found it to be 100 yard, which is my zero point. Hopefully I line up the x-hairs on a mule deer next week.

Just put out some snack food for the critters today. Corn, rice meal, & peanut butter mix. Thought about makng a sandwich for myself out of it. ;) As for parallax, I'm not worried about it. I've bagged 2 deer the last 2 seasons with 1 shot drt, so I figure I'm good to go again this year. :)
