I would sure like to try a fixed 6 power scope, but who even makes these items anymore? I use mostly 2-7 scopes on all my rifles but always leave the power on 7 and never touch it, so a fixed power scope would be perfect for me.

I have have four that are gloss: Weaver Classic V 1-3x20mm, Weaver K4, Weaver Classic V 3-9x38mm and an old Bushnell "Scopechief" 4x. The Weavers are all made in Japan, the Bushnell, I believe was made in Colorado? The rest are Leupold's with the matte finish. Just like firearms, scopes that don't work right, down the road they go. Sure like those Weaver's.
