Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Ive been looking heavily at Ranger point. Mainly its because I can drive to their shop in about 2 hrs of driving. Gotta love that in person support option.

And, have the iron sight backup. Great idea.

Got the Cloverleaf optic version. I am happy with it. I did not have to replace the front post. But, I did have to remove the buckhorn sight. However, it does allow for a clearer sight picture. The buckhorn got in the way. Nevertheless, the front post is clear as day now. And, I am able to adjust it more easily than the buckhorn setup. The buckhorn is good. Yet, I was looking for an open sight that I could use fairly reliable out to 100 yards but not destroy the traditional look. This one seems to fit that bill for me.

I put a Ranger Point front site on my Winchester 1892. It works really well.
