Clovis, I didn't want a rail, because it would add to the height of the red dot. If you notice in the picture, you don't need to use the mount. You can actually screw the red dot directly into the mount. These micro red dots are popular in handguns, as they don't add a ton of height.clovishound wrote:I mounted a similar style of red dot on my Big Boy steel.
