I like a red dot on a handgun, works better for the old eyes.
My Ruger MK III 22/45.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
Glock with red dot sight I just installed.

Re: Glock with red dot sight I just installed.
This is my opinion ....... I've tried Red Dots and scopes on pistol and for target work they are OK but not my cup of tea . I've tried Lasers and Halo sights too and found them to slow me down for defense work . I can get 3 shots on target with iron sight before I get 1 shot on target with Laser or Halo . The pics below I shot with my 73 yrs old eyes . The 1st pic was a new gun with a Lone wolf barrel to shoot cast bullets with 2 different loads and 2 different designed guild rods . The second pic is my everyday carry gun . I just shot one target after installing TruGlo sights and 17 lbs stainless guild rod and I shot 26 rds . Both targets are shot at a fast pace not rapid fire offhand .

For self-dense guns, I won't go anything electronic, either. For those guns, I do like night sights surrounded by a large white dot. These work well, day or night. Target work is something else, entirely. Love a red dot, then.
