Front sight ramp

im curious...has anyone tried using a williams shorty ramp with a dovetail lock on there henry rifle?
If im looking at it right , it has a threaded lock that drives into the dovetail then the ramp screws onto the lock. the ramp is cut for a 3/8 dovetail sight. I comes in 4 heights so matching elevation should not be a problem.

Im a big fan of peep sight and really like the look of the skinner, but using my (redneck) measurement system I almost sure I would have to go with a higher front. I thought this ramp might make the front end of the barrel a little more streamline.
