Due to my great (ha!) eyesight I ended up installing the Burris Fastfire 3 sight on my new Henry BBS 357m. First of all I am extremely happy with the rifle. It is noticeably lighter and handier than my Henry BBS 44M that has a scope on it. I have never had so much fun shooting before! It took me a little bit to get used to NOT AIMING but wow it's fun. If you can zoom in you will notice that I modified or shortened Henry's scope base. I sure would like to find a base plate that could be fastened directly to the rifle receiver so I could co-witness the iron sights. Some may ask why I chose the Fastfire 3 and my reason is that I've used the first original Burris Fastfire on my turkey shotgun for many years and kne it would hold up. This model also allows you to have low - med -high and even auto brightness settings.

I was considering something like that on both my .41 and .357 but with my astigmatism a red dot is a red blob-and therefore makes for a bad aim point-

I have a fastfire on a Ruger 22/45 ultra lite and like it alot. Glad you enjoy it on the Henry. I think Ranger Point is working on a scope mount that might sit lower on the top and allow there peep sight to be used in a co witness type situation.
