Whaler17, we need more info. What do you mean by original flip up sights?

my best guess is he is referring to the "Folding Ladder" sites that come on the "Original Henry Rifle" Model Number - H011

JEBar has probably figured it. The only other flip up sight I see on Henrys is the new "adjustable folding leaf rear sight" on the single-shot rifles. But the word "original" in the OP's inquiry may be the key connection to which sight he means....

Yes, the folding ladder style, I would like to change the Buck horn sight out for the original ladder style, think it looks good

Interesting. The 1866 Winchester yellowboy had the ladder sight. I think it would look cool on your rifle. It's fun to play with at the range too.

I spose you could buy one from somewhere and install it. It'd probably be really nice on your Henry.

Google VTI Gun Parts....they sell all of the Uberti parts including the 1860 sights. Might be an option for you. I just ordered some hardened screws so if I strip the heads on the notoriously soft Uberti ones taking it apart for cleaning, I'll be ready.
