I did a very precise sight-in today. At 25 yds, I have my skinner peep backed out with approx. 1/10" threads showing. So, it looks like I was correct, right on the cusp between the two different front globes. So, I am curious as to any differences between our guns and if you ended up with some up and down adjustment room on your front peep?
I've also tried about five of the Lee Shaver inserts. All them are far better than any sight system I've had before, but they are so close in accuracy that I am having a hard time in choosing the best for my eyes. Right now I have the single verticle pole -- the one that is tall rectangular instead of the two with the small bead. It works well at 25 yds where closer in I like a couple with the small circle.
Here are results:
Both done at 25 yds, 45LC, 255 gr, copper plate FP
This first scan is 15 shots using the Lee Shaver with one of the small circle inserts. 2 1/4 group (Red target is 2" square)

The`next image was my last five shots using a slightly larger circle insert.
2.0" group (Red target is 5/8" inside a 1 5/8" circle)
