The Henry Big Boy 45 handles the “See All open Sight” well. After shooting a couple hundred more rounds through it a couple days ago I have decided I am leaving it on the 45.

I shot at small items at various ranges. I Edited to add this: (I started with a 25 yard zero)
With the height of the aim point on the sight being 1 ½ inch above the center/line of the bore It just about automatically puts hold over for various ranges for a 3” aim-point at 80 yards and a 6” at 100 yards. The only time I will be using the 45 colt beyond 100 yards is just plinking.

I am pleased with the See All Open Sight and would probably by another.

Which reticle did you opt for, Steve? Was it the crosshair or the triangular?

When I bought my sight it was the only one they sold and it came with the triangle.

Thank you for posting that. I thought I was familiar with many types of optics but never heard of this one! Interesting choice.

Thanks for the report. I just saw this sight on YOU TUBE and was going to ask if any of you had tried it!

I got a chance to look one of these over at the range I belong too. Another member had one he was trying out on an AR he was going to use for 3 gun. I did not get to shoot it (was busy with a new shooter) but looked over the sight. Seemed to be decently made. I spoke with him about it later and he was still on the fence about the sight and did not seem too impressed with it. Per the shooter he stated accuracy was just so..so and it slowed his target acquisition compared to iron sights. His opinion not mine.
