Few Dollars More front sight....

Post by Kissmybrass » Wed Sep 29, 2021 8:20 pm

Went to the range and windage was right on the money!
She's shooting super low (which I'm happy about) so I need to trim the front sight down 3/8 of an inch.
So Dremel? Hacksaw? File? All of the above? gonna shape it a little slanted as well.

Id use a file and do it at the range. You cant put it back on if you take to much off. Dont ask me how I know.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

hahaha that's a horrible feeling - that moment when you realize you went too short

Love it! Lowering the front blade and going back to the range tonight. I put a nice leather sling on it and can rest it on my forearm Clint Eastwood style or hold the barrel. Surprisingly didn't get too hot after 30 rounds. The only thing that was moving was the front sling clamp (before I ever even shot it) so I put a bit of solder on it and it won't budge. I should have a range report later. :-)
