Peep for savage model 72???

Post by Ozarkwoodswalker » Wed Jul 21, 2021 3:24 pm

Any idea what peep might fit on a savage model 72 ( single shot falling block action 22lr that has octagon barrel. Looks very similar to the old stevens favorite or stecens crackshot.
My eyes need a peep instead of the open sights that come on it.

If that rear sight uses a standard dovetail, a Skinner barrel mount peep might be doable. Skinner even makes a barrel mount for a micro style red dot sight if you don't mid going non-traditional.
