Optics Planet is horrible. I ordered a scope from them that never came. Check out reviews and most are 1 star because they always back order most everything.

Run away fast...
That's a shame. They must have gone down hill. I've ordered from them, but that was 10 years ago.

I bought my Vortex scope through them in 2018. I got it promptly. Since then they do appear to have gone downhill. I see three primary issues.

  • Back order delays. Maybe no control over that since multiple industries also seem to be affected these days.
  • Shipping via DHL. (Ya worst ever. Even I've had deliver problems with them regardless of product vendor).
  • Customer service doesn't always follow through.

I've ordered from this company with success. I think they're in Louisiana.
