Talley Rings

Post by Cleveraction » Fri Jan 15, 2021 3:41 pm

Just mounted the scope with Talley Low rings for a 44mm. I think I probably could have gotten by with extra low. Based on conversations with Talley and my own calculations I thought I should only have 3mm left (1/8) but it looks more like 1/4.

They seem pretty stout, we will see how the do!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I've had the same model of Talley rings on my Tikka T3 .270 for about 8 years. They're about as foolproof as you can get ;) . I also used them on its "mini me" Tikka T1 .22 Long rifle, just to match up :) .

Wow. That brings back memories. I met my wife in Ingleside. We use to eat lunch around those parts. It was hot, most days. Now, we are the somewhat cool area of Virginia's shores. Still have to deal with hurricanes though.
