I have had several Cobra figure 8 slings for the last 40 years on my hunting rifles. They have all stood the tests of time. They have been to West Texas deserts to the Continental Divide @ 7700' in sleet and snow. Like all good leather, it has only gotten better. You could do a lot worse. I am going to put one on my Henry BBB 45 colt shortly.

I have several of their leather holsters for my single action revolvers and also some of their cordura nylon holsters. Have no complaints. Good quality for the price.
