A Forum I Like
Part & parcel for both groups of enthusiasts are beautiful artwork on a rifle, and the history behind the making of historical firearms. I've really enjoyed the recent time I've spent on the Muzzleloading.com forum I recently joined. It's been quite parallel to a lot of the threads I've read on our HRF over the years, and where I've seen so many beautiful photos of special-made lever-action rifles.

Another Website I Like
Enough said on my new Forum readings. I also found an interesting website by a fellow who absolutely loves his work of making and restoring rifles & pistols of the 18th century. Found this as I've been reading about that era of muzzleloaders.

Take a look at his homepage and some beautiful examples of wood carving and metals work he makes for rifles and pistols: https://www.jsbrookslongrifles.com/ Hope some of you will enjoy this stuff.

And what I really appreciated was how he expressed the pleasure he experiences in his work. Check out the last paragraph on his Biography page under the heading "PHILOSOPHY." https://www.jsbrookslongrifles.com/biography.htm

Really neat for me to see such beautiful craftsmanship realized through a strong, straightforward philosophy.
Cool 8-)
