Id like to know how you like that when you get it. Its just the belt and not meant for a holster for the pistola isnt it.
Received it today. It's good. Lighter than a regular cartridge belt even with rounds on it. Just changed out the silver buckle for a brass one I had, and goof to go. Very soft and comfortable around the waist.

Here ya go, you asked about a pistol...it will certainly pack my big horse pistol. The belt fits well over my winter coat, some don't, as I said I only pack my knife when horseback cuz the pistol would land me in jail in good 'ol Canada. But the belt is quite well made, and will only age better. Everything about it is heavy duty, the suede is folded and stitched, the stitching they use is stout too. It is very soft and flexible with no break in period required by the looks of it. And low maintenance too. Just let it get well used and weathered.

Took off the stock cover for awhile. Always seems a shame to cover up that gorgeous brass butt plate. Will pack extra cartridges on the belt instead of the rifle stock. Gave the rifle a good wipe down with a Rem Oil wipe. Horseback next couple of days, guess it's back to winter riding for awhile. Stock is good and oily so snow won't stick. I left the lever wrap on though, I am getting used to it. I think it looks good even without the stock cover.

Al and I pm'd on the holster but for the benefit of all; it's a Triple K Slim Jim holster on a Hunter Company Duke style suede belt.

Ordered a Wild Bunch Rig from Kirkpatrick Leather Tuesday. Instead of the two short double mag holders I substituted one double from the Deputy 1945 model which is a little deeper. I will be using it to carry full size 1911s mostly around the property. I can open carry in Michigan but don't see any reason to, just like the rig and have been drooling over it for a couple years. Figured I might as well get it now and enjoy it. Don't have any illusions of a quick draw as I do like having all of my toes.

Have purchased a couple holsters from Kirkpatrick before and I think they do some nice work. Told me it would be about 5 weeks.

That is a sharp rig. I am going to be looking for a chest holster for my newly acquired 1911. Its a Kimber Camp Guard 10. Like it so far. But don't like the OWB holster I got for it right away. Just not comfortable.

Would like to see a pic of your Kimber they do some nice work. I have a couple of shoulder holsters for 1911s. It is a bit of adjustment wearing one but after a little practice they are pretty comfortable. There are some decent OWB holsters available and I like to wear a cross draw for driving comfort.
