Leather for your Henry

Post by BigAl52 » Sun Dec 03, 2017 10:39 am

Ranchroper first posted this link but he has added some stuff that might interest some of the people with levers that dont have sling studs in there Henrys. This guy does nice work and is a cowboy action shooter himself. I ordered a stock cover for my 41 from him and he did a great job with it. He was also very good to work with. Might give this sight a second look. Al

Nice, but unless I'm not looking in the right place I don't see any photos of lever wraps.

Try this right here Dave. Unless your thinking of the wrap for the lever itself. I was referring to this. But I'm sure Mark would make one if asked. Al

Yes, I was thinking wraps for the lever (they have one on the Henry site and that what they call it). Even on the link you just posted they call the picture a Stock Harness and say "Matching slings & lever wraps are also available". If you go back to the "Gunstock covers and Lever wraps page they only show gunstock covers and slings. Not looking for a lever cover, was just curious what their's looked like. They do make some nice looking items.

Very nice work. Never seen a stock harness in use. Is it just a place to attach a sling? Wouldn't it eventually rub off the finish?

You don't see that sort of craftsmanship every day. Absolutely beautiful leather work. Image
