Ruger Forum dot net

I don’t think I’ve been there in at least ten years. For some reason I went there today and posted. I saw several that were there when I left however most of my buddies were banned. I was pushing the envelope myself mostly with ammo hoarding threads.

Anyone still post there? I’m 303lithgow there.

I dropped in there about a year ago. It had been several years before that. Some familiar names still there. The site had gone through new ownership and some of the admin weren’t happy.

I posted once and read through dozens of posts. Seems to be a lot of bickering with some self-proclaimed experts knowing everything and if you have a different experience you are an idiot. Makes me realize how great this forum is.

Is there a good, (read that friendly,) Ruger forum?
At present, I belong to three forums. This one, a woodworking forum, and a military forum. I had signed on a couple other forums on various subjects.

I ran into the abusive know it alls During the first couple visits. You know the ones... who didn't really know as much as they thought they did... but attempt to belittle the new people with low post counts and put them in their place. Never signed on again.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I only post on this and a teardrop forum. The teardrop forum only has about 250 members and I’ve met about a hundred of them at the annual campout.
