I would like to remind everyone that political, religious, or sexual post will be deleted. We all know our Second Amendment rights are being attacked but this is not the place to fight that fight. I suggest you write your local, state and federal lawmakers and let them hear your voice loud and clear. There are plenty of forums that allow you to post such topics but this is not one of them.

Can you delete my thread about the Missoula City Council meeting that I posted about NEW proposed gun laws that involve one of Bloomberg's anti gun groups? It is in the General Section. It was a post about that meeting and if you were FOR or AGAINST it... I gave the dates out.

I could not answer or reply to what happened at the one PH and S City meeting since it was closed up before I got to reply. I could not give out details there or even what our own Montana State Attorney General TOLD our city council and mayor regarding that specific matter and our Montana State Constitution.

I will not give out any future dates for any upcoming meetings. Montana people can LOOK up the dates online, if the city fathers post them in a timely manner (?), and see if they want to attend them or not to voice their opinions.

The garbage that is in OUR national and individual state news (Worldwide too!) might not want to be put up here since the 'NEWS' generally turns into politics in some manner or form whether the people are murdered by all kinds of killers and they USE their cars, trucks, guns, knives, hammers, bare hands, etc.

Cate, I'll take care of it. As I told you and stated in the thread, it's because of the good members we have here that we didn't need to do much other than lock it to prevent a future person from fanning a non existent flame.

I stopped posting on the Ruger forum because of political posts. People were calling each other names and I never learned anything new.

I have a few Rugers. I am sure I joined there. It was not a friendly place and I didn't stay long.

I stopped posting on the Ruger Forum because of Censorship. There was Censorship there like I've never seen before. I made a last non-disrespectful post about the Censorship (which eventually also got Censored, lol) and I left. Haven't been back since.

That said, we talk Politics every day over at Marlinowners. Lately we talk about Politics more than Guns, lol. But we all get along great. Oh, there are problems once in a while, but very rare. The main reason everything goes so smooth is that we are all on the same "page". The rare problems we do have usually fix themselves, but the moderators there know where to draw the line and will get rid of the member if absolutely necessary.

Now I'm not saying that we should have Politics here, but I am saying that Politics can be talked about day in and day out in a civil manner. And I have to say that to me, it is very educational.

But some sites like them and some don't.

I personally think it's better that we don't here, but if it is ever decided, who knows, lol.

I agree, it is possible to discuss politics in a civil manner, provided everyone is civil. Recognizing everyone's right to their own viewpoint sounds like a good idea, until people get involved.

This will remain an oasis of like minded individuals. We all like Henry Repeating Arms, most everything else on this forum and each others company.

I've stepped up to the line and across it here.

When I did cross the line I got edited. I pm'd them and they explained their stance to me.

Dave and SH don't want to deal with it here at all.

You can choose to respect their rules or leave.

He who pays for the sight can make any rules they want.

It's as simple as that.
