Speaking of cake, and after the fact.

It would have been fun if the Forum software could have determined which member posted #100K; kind of like the tracking we're doing on reaching 1000 Henry rifles owned by the members (as of today, total is 981). Anyway, that person who posted #100K might have received the cake, e.g. an orange or pink Henry towel.

So my percentage came out at 4.29% of the posts. Wonder how many words were written in those posts? Numbers can be fun to play with.

Yes, the number of posts is impressive considering the active membership size of our Forum.
Hope to see more folk jump in. We have a great Forum here.

"When will the forum reach 1 million posts?" That's a long game. Took about 3.2yrs to reach 100K. 900K to go, so at the previous post rate about 28.8yrs.

I belong to a number of other forums. Some of them for nearly 20 years.

A couple I can barely stand to read any longer, for all the hate, one-upsmanship (is that a word?) and general disagreeableness (there I go again).

Anyway, a really nice group of folks here. Have never seen a more friendly and helpful gang.

Agreed! I don't go to any other forums anymore. Here you can get help or answers to almost anything!

5 months later we have a total of 129251 posts ..... that's 19,251 in 5 months .... there appears to be a good bit of chatting going on

Id say that guys drivin that beverage thread have done a pretty good job considering theres alot more participation in that morning thread than in the adult thread. Not to mention the morning thread been around longer
