You have to sign in and JOIN this forum to READ it, right?

Or do I have my settings wrong? I can't read it without signing in to it.

Another thing, is there a thing or an arrow showing on a thread that shows you IF you already posted on it before or do you have to read the entire thread or go back to your own name and read your former posts to see if you posted on a specific thread?

Thank you.

Cate

The red little thing-a-ma-jig on the left tells you. No star = no reply.

Also if you quote someone it lets them know you quoted them and replied. It will show up in the Notifications top right. So if you want a reply from something you said then quote them. If you don't quote them but ask a question they might not notice it.

Also if you click on the quick links it will show your unread and unanswered posts.

Okay and thank you for the explanations.

I did not study it and I was looking for a thing of a ma jig symbol like one on the BF forum.

I was going back and forth to see if I had already replied to a thread or a poster here. I used to have to do that on other forums that I no longer read or post on. Plus I went to my own profile to see my posts so I did not reply twice to the same person.

I kind of figured out the notification thing too. That helps me.

Thanks again.

That is the feature I use the most to view threads that have been replies since I last opened them. And I check the Notifications to see if someone quoted me.
