Clock Next To SEARCH Box

Post by rickhem » Mon Feb 16, 2026 11:57 am

I'm noticing that there is a small clock up in the top part of the page, just below the "notifications" bell, and next to the SEARCH box. Is that new? I'll admit that sometimes things go unnoticed by me, and when I do finally see them, it's a discovery, even when they've been there for a while.

Is that little clock thing new? It's correct for my time zone too!

I like it!

It has the correct time for me in Eastern Standard time. I have no clue about what folks in other time zones see. I believe it has always been there, I just never paid much attention to it.

It's correct in my timezone, too. I think it might have always been there, though I really don't recall ever paying attention to it till now.

Regardless, you made me consider it, so please forgive this philosophical comment because it's late and I'm old and thinking too much about too much.

 It's a digital clock, and -- as we know -- Time/Space is analog; as is everything, everywhere, unless it's in something called cyberspace, like here, where events are like crypto currency. Fake. Poof.

We're all analog; just more stuff in time that flows like a river in space. It's been said that no one has ever stood in the same river twice. There is no pause, skip, or rewind. So, try to be a good guy at the end and try not to watch the clock or count your heartbeats as you go. Just be a good guy. There will be an end.
