Thanks! I really didn't do much, other than babble on about my Big Boy and my new revolver. Oh ya, and post lots of photos of cow backsides. But "Drover" is cool, it sounds very old timey....like the kind of old cowpuncher who would pack an 1860 Henry on his saddle...a 45 Colt one...early next year maybe... :D 8-)

Drover? What in the world is a drover?

*EDIT* I googled the term and evidently it's a person that moves animals. Same thing as a shepherd?!?

Hey I like those logos! Drovers were cattlemen who went up the long trails from Texas to railheads at Sedalia or Abiliene, and drove vast herds to the northern ranges of Wyoming and Montana. More commonly known as cowboys later, but drovers were certainly the early version before herds of cattle were common on the grasslands.
Sheep?...pest of the range. Many range wars erupted between cattle drovers and sheep herders. Not good, but for guys who liked shooting their Henry rifles it afforded lots of practice on both sides I guess... :)

Thanks for the promotion to Drover!
