Sorry you are sick. I’ve gotten flue shots for the last 20 years and seldom have a respirator problem. When I do it’s only a slight nuisance. I think I have a lot of cross-virus protection.

Hello again from quarantine! I have my 3rd round of COVID, and the first time I tested positive.
How's everyone else?
I hope your case this time is no worse than mine have ever been. Last one, a year ago, was exercising and living a mostly "normal", blissfully ignorant life. Had to take a covid test prior to a rotator cuff surgery, and tested positive. Delayed my surgery a month, but that was the ony inconvenience I suffered. Until I had that test, I never knew I was even "sick".

Wish the same deal for you, Dahliathemeh. And for anyone else that gets it as well......

No Covid so far. I was hit with something on a Friday AM while at The Tiger Reserve working . Barely made it home. Crashed for three days and then it was gone. Self tested for Covid but I was clear. Called the VA clinic and they had no clue.

I lost my sense of smell and taste yesterday. That was one of my biggest fears.
On the plus side I can't smell any boy farts in the house.

Best of luck on your recovery. Had the Covid along with my wife in January 2022. My wife is a T 10 paraplegic, in a wheelchair for the last 38years, she suffered with long Covid symptoms for at least six months. My only long term symptoms were I achieved a long term smell of cigars, cigarettes and ashtrays. Problem with that is nobody smokes around here.

Tested positive Friday afternoon. Seems a little worse than the first time I had it. Worst symptom is major sinus congestion, 4 hour nasal spray only lasts 1 hour. Feeling a little better today. Since I have several of the major underlying conditions my Doctor gave me a script for Paxlovid, also I have had the shots and boosters.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
