March 20th, would've been my mother's 85th Birthday .

I well remember that gremlins were at work that first day .... when the forum went down it really concerned several of us who experienced the sudden demise of the first Henry forum .... no clue when you keyed in your application but the forum's software credits it as being Mon Mar 21, 2016 12:56 am

Tho, I don't even remember what I was doing 5 yrs ago. Hate that I missed the initial startup, but have 1 yr under my belt now,
and enjoyed every minute.
From what I've read from time to time, it was a bit rough in the beginning, a bump or two in the road, but you guys/gals did a
good job keeping it together.

I have been a plank holder in a couple of forums, one was a kayak fishing forum. It too was like a family, and Miss T and I were heavily involved. Miss T coordinated the fly tying sub-forum, and ran monthly on line contests. It was a great place to be until the membership really grew exponentially, and the mods couldn't keep up. The owner started choosing mods who volunteered rather than those with the proper attitude, and ... Well... You know. We found other things to do.

Here, there are rules.
They are evenly enforced.
The mods and the members cooperate.
It's family.
Glad to be here.
I follow a simple rules, if I wonder if may be I shouldn't post it.
I don't. If I find I'm angry about something. I don't post. Keeps it civil.
I want to stay around.

I had just joined the first one when it crashed. Think I did it.

I used to go to the old forum just to read about the rifles of H.R.A. When it started to get shall I say "intermittent " and finally was replaced with this wonderful place, I decided it was time to get involved.
