OK forget the above .. .. just before formally placing the order I noticed the Campark Trail Camera-WiFi 20MP 1296P Hunting Game Camera with Night Vision Motion Activated for Outdoor Wildlife Monitoring Waterproof IP66 ====> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XQ ... UTF8&psc=1 .... a little bit more expensive but can be checked by using his phone .... also a bit better camera .... the delivery dates fit our schedule so its been ordered .... in thinking about it, I wonder if I should order another, I'm sure my wife would be surprised if I give her one as well .... :?

.
I was thinking of getting one for my wife for Christmas too. Waffling on doing so though. She might use it to keep tabs on me.

I went with the Browning Strike Force Pro XD. Got it on sale for $159.

Has 20Mb capability, but I set it for 12Mb. Set it up pointed at the bird feeder area. Got some early morning pictures of birds and the neighbors dog coming over to take a poop. Will have to play with the shutter speed setting or use video clip mode for the birds. Birds flying in and out are blurred in the still pictures.

Congrats on the new camera Mags.
Sorting through the unwanted pics and videos can be a pain. ;)
