My brother lives in Hudson, Florida and owns a 1937 Hudson Hosecar Firetruck.

Hudson only made 6 of these trucks in 1937 and this is the only one left.

My brother used to lead parades with it and often had Charley Daniels as Parade Marshall riding with him. Some of you know Charley is a pretty good fiddle player.

They sure don't make 'em like that anymore.

Cool truck.

I've never seen one before.

I'm also a big Charlie Daniels fan.

What a beautiful old fire truck, and the only one left and he owns it! How very cool!

Very nice...I've not heard "Hosecar Firetruck" before. Kind of a cool moniker.

And I really like the front chrome grill work....the real thing, I'm sure!

My father-in-law loved old firetrucks - he would really drool over that one.

Thanks for posting.

Before my brother rebuilt this Hudson it was used in fire company competitions on Long Island, NY. It went by the name of "The Flying Dutchman."

It has a 327 Corvette engine under the hood.
