Re: Grand Canyon
Very nice photos. I was there a few years ago, but I stay way back. I am afraid of heights. We had driven down from Las Vegas with some friends. There was a tour guide there with a group of people and I overheard what he said; "look down there where you see that shiny reflection, that is the remnants of two planes that crashed into the canyon in the late 1950's. They were two passenger planes that didn't know that the other was in the area. Air traffic control was not as advanced in those days as it is today. The pilot of the plane at the higher elevation came down lower so his passengers could get a better view of the canyon, and he collided with the lower plane and they never have removed all the parts from those two planes." I found it to be interesting yet tragic. I remember seeing a coyote standing along the road as we were leaving. It was smaller than the eastern coyotes that we have around here.

Re: Grand Canyon
We were there with a tour, I was busy taking pictures when I heard the guide say firmly. "Ma'am step back slowly please". I turned to see what was happening.
It was my wife, she had stepped around one of the guard rails and walked out onto a large rock on the edge.
She wanted to get a better view straight down.
Until then I did not know she had a daredevil side.
