Beautiful country up there. My folks were from Hornell in Steuben county. We spent a lot of summers there.

I happened to get into downtown NY City (long story) in 1971 .... haven't been back, don't have any plans to ever go back .... upstate NY is an entirely different matter .... beautiful country, nice people .... for us it has been easier to work in trips to the Northwest than it has been to the Northeast .... going back to upstate NY and the rest of New England is most certainly on our bucket list

Excellent capture of the Upstate. I lived there until 2014 and, man, do I miss the countryside. I loved the rolling hills and lakes.
