Quiet Kayak, said it before and I'll say it again, you get the best pics due to the stealth of the kayak.
This green heron allowed me to get right there...


Something else spooked him and ... Boiiing, who knew they had a slinky for a neck.

Here is another shot I like of the Green Heron, I managed to pick up a year or so later, I think the colors in this shot are much better.


You never know what you'll come across.

Speaking of kayaks, our lake is now partially ice free, so did get out in the solo canoe and paddled to the edge of the ice. We are seeing some migrating waterfowl, right now. Great time of year, up here.

Your kayak should be registered as a secret weapon, BM. It certainly allows you to access places that would normally be "off limits" and shoot some amazing photographs.
